The Ministry for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) regulates the schemes for development of the small scale industries in India. The schemes, benefits and other elements are governed by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, (MSMED) 2006.
What is Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise
SMEs are categorized on the basis of the investment in the business like plant and machinery and equipment. Amount of Investment falling the specified criteria describes the type of organization such as micro, small and medium enterprises.
